A skilled Sign Language Interpreter is needed to support communication for students and staff within a school setting located in Racine, WI. This travel position requires the ability to facilitate clear and effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and their peers, educators, and staff.
Responsibilities include:

• Providing accurate and fluent interpretation in American Sign Language (ASL) during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events
• Collaborating with teachers and support staff to ensure full communication access for students
• Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times
• Adapting interpreting approach based on the needs of students and context
• Traveling to various school sites as assigned to fulfill interpreting duties

Qualifications:
